What an emotional day! Today while we were at the Living Room, one of the ladies was feeling so good! She was telling us about how she wants so much to not take drugs any more. She looked so good, with her face glowing with JOY! Not only was she trying to stay away from drugs, she was giving Jesus the glory! She said that she talks to Him all the time and she is gaining the strength to fight the temptation! After we left the Living Room, we went to the garage and Jasmine and Ramona were talking to another lady that was desperate to stop doing drugs and Ramona was encouraging her to go to a center that would help her. Jasmine also had another option for her through her church. You can see she was so scared, that she wanted to go at that moment. Unfortunately, it was a Saturday and neither center would be available until Monday. Before leaving her, we all gathered together holding hands, praying over her, that she gain the strength to fight the urge to use again. Amen and Amen!
